The second Kesari Hearth is officially open downtown — a bigger dining room, a longer tandoor counter, and the same clay ovens we have cooked in since day one.
The new kitchen centres on a live-fire sigri you can watch from twelve counter seats. Skewers go on to order: tangdi, seekh, soya chaap, mushrooms. Nothing waits under a heat lamp; the coals set the pace.
We have kept the menu you know and added five downtown exclusives, including a midnight dal finished tableside and a downtown-only chaat trolley on weekends.
Doors open Tuesday to Sunday, noon to eleven. Reservations for the counter go fast — book ahead and come hungry.
